The Irreverences, Provocations & Connivances of Uncle Skulky appears in a limited edition of six unique copies. Each book features a suite of twenty-one prints, one self-portrait of the artist enclosed in Uncle Skulky's skull, and two original drawings. Notes, titles, and various lines of verse by the incomparable Norse poet, Egil Skallagrimsson, accompany each print. The cover of each book features an original lacquer drawing by Frank Boyden. All type is Centaur and Arrighi and was printed letterpress. The book is bound as a drum-leaf binding with a leather and linen drop-away spine. Each book is presented in a linen- and silk-lined, drop-spine box.
